NEW YORK MILLS - Four wrestlers came through with perfect 2-0 nights, and the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines split at the New York Mills Triangular on Tuesday.
Chase Godel, Carter Wright, Blaine Snyder and Isaac Malone each finished 2-0 as the Wolverines defeated Walker-Hackensack-Akely 40-39, but lost to New York Mills 39-17.
Against Walker-Hackensack-Akeley, the Wolverines won by tiebreaking criteria for most escapes.
