ALBANY — Staples-Motley’s Owen Bjerga won the 160-pound title and the Cards finished eighth at the Albany Purple Pride Invite Friday, Feb. 7.
Bjerga won his first two matches with a fall and a major decision. He then improved his record to 34-1 with a 13-5 major decision over Hutchison’s Cale Luthens in the championship match.
