CROSBY — Colbe Tappe, Dalton Wells and Alex Giza all went 2-0 with two pins for the Staples-Motley Cardinals who defeated the Crosby-Ironton Rangers 51-26 and Park Rapids Panthers 72-9 in a Mid-State Conference Triangular Tuesday, Feb. 2.
Also finishing 2-0 for the Cards were Jason Trantina, Owen Winter, Andrew Salcido, Sam Jennissen and Cole Winkels.
Gabe Ridlon pinned both of his opponents for the Rangers who defeated Park Rapids 45-30 in the other match.
Dillion Barna, John Paul Fitzpatrick, Jake Klancher and Michael Fitzpatrick also finished 2-0 for the Rangers.
