Pierz sweeps
AITKIN-Class 1A's top-ranked Pierz Pioneers defeated the Aitkin Gobblers 54-9 in the final meet of Tuesday's Aitkin Triangular.
Earlier, the Pioneers beat the Blackduck/Cass Lake-Bena Drakes 42-15 and BCLB beat Aitkin 39-25.

Wolverines split
WADENA-Blaine Snyder pinned both of his opponents at 145 pounds for the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines who split their triangular Tuesday defeating Crosby-Ironton 51-21 and losing 47-27 to Class 1A's ninth-ranked Park Rapids Panthers.
Also going 2-0 for the Wolverines were Jason Young, Colton Knudson and Steven Erkenbrack, with each of them winning one match by forfeit.
Nate Williams went 2-0 for C-I winning by forfeit against Park Rapids which beat the Rangers 72-12.
