BIG LAKE — Connor Tulenchik earned two wins by pin and Owen Carlson grabbed two wins and recorded his 75th win as the Class 2A’s eighth-ranked Pequot Lakes/Pine River-Backus Road Crew came away with two wins at Big Lake Friday, Feb 5.

Corbin Kanpp also tallied two pins as the Road Crew improved to 12-2 overall.

PL/PRB defeated Class 2A’s 12th-ranked Big Lake Hornets 41-28 and came away with a 30-30 tie against Minnetonka where the Road Crew won on first criteria.

Aitkin splits as Larson notches 100th win

NORTH BRANCH — Marshall Larson finished 2-0 with a pin and also claimed his 100th career win as Aitkin split a pair of meets at the North Branch Triangular Friday, Feb 5.

The Gobblers defeated North Branch 54-22 and fell to Class 2A’s 10th-ranked Anoka Tornadoes 54-18.

Nathan Trotter was 2-0 with a pin and Nathan Stifter alson won both of his matches as the Gobblers pulled even at 6-6.

MOORHEAD — Mason Rauschk, Austin Litke, Nathaniel Kludt and Eli VanRisseghem all pinned both of their opponents for the Little Falls Flyers who defeated the Moorhead Spuds 49-20 and lost 43-36 to Alexandria in a Section 8-3A triangular Friday, Feb. 5.

Also finishing 2-0 with one pin each for the Flyers were Kobi Cameron and Gabe Nagel.
