Area Wrestling: Tappe wins twice for S-M

Two area wrestling teams took to the mats Tuesday, Jan. 19.

BARRATT — Colby Tappe finished 2-0 with a pin and Chase Mikel, Aidan Winter, Dalton Wells and Conner Dobson all recorded one win by pin for Staples-Motley at the West Central Triangular Tuesday, Jan. 19.

The Cardinals lost to United North Central 39-35 and to West Central 63-15.

GLYNDON — Simon Snyder finished 2-0 with a pin and Koby Endres won both of his matches as Wadena-Deer Creek dropped meets to Breckenridge and Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Tuesday, Jan. 19.

The Wolverines lost to the Cowboys 39-30 and fell to the Rebels 75-10.
