AITKIN-Nine Pierz wrestlers won both of their matches as Class 1A's top-ranked Pioneers defeated the Aitkin Gobblers 54-9 and the Blackduck/Cass Lake-Bena Drakes 42-15 at Tuesday's Aitkin Triangular.
The Pierz delegation included Brandon Funk, Jake Andres, Reese Kapsner, Andrew Tomala, Colton Kasper, Jalen Jansen, Logan Lease, Brett Kapsner and Matt Kummet.
Pierz, 26-1, has won five straight. Before hosting Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City and Holdingford in a triangular Thursday.
