Sadie Sue Houdek and Alex Loukinen were named the Flyer September Athletes of the Month.
Houdek, a senior, was the No. 1 singles player for the Flyers girls tennis team. She notched 18 wins.
“Her leadership skills are top notch and looks how to better her teammates every day at practice,” Flyer head tennis coach Deb Yliniemi-Ahlin said.
Loukinen, a junior, was a midfielder for the Flyers boys soccer team. Loukinen was the team’s leading scorer.
“Alex is instrumental in controlling the play through the midfield,” Flyers head boys soccer coach Julie Bell said. “He takes our corner kicks and free kicks. He has been a great leader on the field as a junior.”
