The Little Falls Activities Department named three athletes as February Athletes of the Month.
Austin Litke, Camilla Johnson and Sami Tembreull were named Little Falls Flyers February Athletes of the Month by the Flyer Activities Department.
Litke, a sophomore wrestler, advanced to the Class 3A State Tournament.
“Austin has worked very hard this year to earn a Section 8-3A Championship for himself,” Flyers head wrestling coach Mike Hendrickson said. “Austin did not lose in February and dominated his Section 8-3A weight class. He lost by decision in his first match at state and ended the year with a 34-4 record.
Johnson, a senior, was a member fo the Flyers Nordic ski team.

“Camilla has been a top varsity racer all season,” Flyers head Nordic ski coach Mattia Hendrickson said. “She leads the team by example and is a hard worker and a supportive teammate. Camilla’s positive attitude and determination play a huge role in her success. She has put in a lot of work this season and her efforts paid off.”
Tembreull, a junior, was a member of the Little Falls girls basketball team.
“Sami is a wonderful person and a great teammate,” Flyers head coach Joel Youngberg said. “Her personality and smile are infectious and she makes her teammates better at practice and competition. Her desire to perform at a high level is so much fun to coach. Our team hasn't had a lot of success when it comes to wins, but to see Sami practice and play you'd think she's playing for the state championship.”
