Athletics: Aadland, Hague earn distinction

Former Warriors contribute to Johnnies.

COLLEGEVILLE — Ian Aadland and Brett Hague were among 86 St. John’s University athletes to earn Academic All-MIAC honors.

Aadland, a sophomore from Brainerd, is on the Johnnies men’s tennis team. He is a mathematics major with a 3.91 grade-point average.

Hague, a junior from Brainerd, is on SJU’s men’s track and field team. He is an accounting major with a GPA of 3.72.

Hague was also one of seven Johnnies to earn All-Region honors in the javelin. He finished second regionally and ninth nationally.

To be selected for All-Region, a student-athlete must either be ranked in the top five of an individual event in the region or be part of a top-three relay team.
