Pierz’s Jayden Smieja was chosen as the 2019-20 Central Minnesota Athena Awards recipient from her school.
Smieja participates in volleyball, dance and track and field.
Athena is an award program to recognize outstanding senior female athletes from Central Minnesota and to honor each woman for her achievements in one or several sports.
