Athletics: Run for the Lakes virtual race results

Albert Lea native Benjamin Haukoos was the top finishing male in the Run for the Lakes virtual marathon Saturday, April 25, with a 2:58.51 time.

Natalie Timmers of Nelson was top female in 3:43.28.

In the half marathon, Jeremy Bird of South Range, Wisconsin was the top male in 1:23.37 and Joleen Quisberg of Lake Shore was the top female in 1:45.27.

There were 52 participants in the marathon and 141 in the half marathon.
