The Brainerd Bees ended with two losses to East Grand Forks 17-10 and 10-6 in the Section 2B playoffs Sunday, August 8, at Central Lakes College.
In Game One, Gunnar Wicklund went 4-5 with a solo home run in the Bees’ 17-10 loss. Brian Voigt pitched seven innings in the Game One loss and also went 3-5 with a double and a home run to tally four RBIs as well.
Colin Kleffman went 2-5 with three runs and Joel Martin went 2-6 with an RBI.
In Game Two, Wicklund had another big game for the Bees going 4-4 with three doubles in a 10-6 loss to knock the Bees out of the playoffs.
Joel Martin pitched six innings and struck out seven in the loss for Brainerd.

Phil Zynda went 3-5 with one RBI and Kleffman went 2-5 with a triple and two RBIs in the Game Two loss.
The Bees finished with a 10-12 record.
