Hibbing defeated the Brainerd Bees 9-2 in an exhibition game Sunday.
Brian Voigt was 1-for-3 with a double and walk for Brainerd, Tim Martin was 1-3 with a walk and a run, Joel Martin was 1-4 with a run and Stuart Farrand hit a sacrifice fly.
Voigt was the losing pitcher. In six innings, he allowed seven hits and eight runs (4 earned) with three strikeouts and two walks. Tim Martin worked the last two innings allowing two hits and one earned run with one strikeout.
