Bemidji swept a doubleheader from the Brainerd Warrior freshmen Saturday.
In Game One, Bemidji scored a 1-0 victory. Colin Kleffman, McCale Peterson and Chad Orsburn had hits for Brainerd. Peterson pitched a complete game and took the loss.
Bemidji won Game Two 5-0. James Loveless had the only Brainerd hit. Starting pitcher Trystan Richardt took the loss.
On Friday, the Warriors opened the season with a doubleheader split Willmar.
Brainerd won Game One 10-4. Tanner Stenglein went 3-4 with a double, Colin Kleffman was 3-5, Hunter Wicklund 2-4 with two doubles and Chris Karels tripled. Winning pitcher Colin Kleffman went four innings and allowed no earned runs. Bryce McConnville pitched three innings in relief.

In Game Two, Willmar nipped the Warriors 7-6. Losing pitcher was Ryan Peterson, who relieved Chance Miller after three innings. Alex Haapajoki was 2-4 for the Warriors.
