Brainerd will host the 64th VFW State Baseball Tournament Wednesday Aug. 8 to Sunday, Aug. 12.
The event will kick off with a banquet Aug. 8 at Brainerd High School. Games will begin 10 a.m. Thursday at Mills field and 10:30 a.m. at Don Adamson Field. Additional games will follow at both fields about every 2 ½ hours.
Brainerd is one of the 10 teams competing in the double-elimination format.
