McCale Peterson was 2-for-3 and pitched a complete game with six strikeouts and one walk as the Brainerd Warrior freshmen defeated Sauk Rapids 13-0 in the first game of a doubleheader Tuesday.
Chris Karels and Max Boran were both 3-4 and Colin Kleffman was 2-4.
Sauk Rapids won Game Two 5-0. Dario Cruz and Keegan Decker had hits for Brainerd. Losing pitcher Abe Schlegel went the distance.
