Chance Miller was 2-4 for Brainerd as Warriors freshmen defeated St. Cloud Tech 5-3 in the second game of a doubleheader Tuesday.
Abe Schlegel started and went three innings. Ryan Peterson pitched two innings of scoreless relief to get the win as Brainerd scored four runs in the top of the fifth to take the lead.
Tanner Stenglein was 2-2 for Brainerd in a 6-1 loss in Game One. Chris Karels was the losing pitcher. Hunter Anderson pitched 2-plus innings of scoreless relief.
