Baseball: Harvest split with Eden Prairie

The St. Mathias Harvest played two against Eden Prairie.

ST. MATHIAS — Charlie Weber struck out the final batter with the winning run on base to pitch the St. Mathias Harvest 60-and-over team to a 4-3 Game One victory over Eden Prairie Saturday, July 16.

Eden Prairie earned the split with a 9-8 win in Game Two.

Weber pitched the complete game for the Game One win.

Leading hitters for the Harvest were Gary Thompson with four and Steve Athman and George Weber with three hits each.

The 60-and-over Harvest will host St. Louis Park Sunday, July 24.
