Baseball: Harvest sweep Dodgers

The St. Mathias Harvest played two against the Brooklyn Center Dodgers

The St. Mathias Harvest posted a 12-0 and 17-5 doubleheaders sweep of the Brooklyn Center Dodgers Sunday, Sept. 19.

Charlie Weber pitched a no-hitter in the opener. Sev Poser got the win in relief of Neil Sather in the nightcap.

Scott Boser, Kevin Tschida and Scott Schmidt all finished with five hits. Gary Thompson recorded four hits.

Schmidt smashed three home runs and Thor Wicklund recorded a grand slam.

The Harvest will next compete Sunday, Sept. 26, in the Over 50 State Tournament at White Bear Lake.
