ST. CLOUD-Like he did April 28, 6-foot-11 lefty Trevor Koenig blanked the Brainerd Warriors Tuesday for a 5-0 St. Cloud Tech victory.
Koenig, who verbally committed to pitch at St. Cloud State in 2018, held Brainerd to three hits. Those belonged to Braydon Borg, who hit a double in the second, Colin Kleffman, who singled in the first, and Chris Karels, who singled in the fifth.
Max Boran started for the Warriors. He allowed five runs on five hits and four walks. He struck out three.
Borg pitched the final inning. He struck out one and allowed one hit.
Class 3A's second-ranked Tech improves to 10-0 in the Central Lakes Conference and 13-0 overall.

The loss snapped Brainerd's three-game win streak, but the Warriors will get a chance to redeem themselves against Sartell Thursday.
Action will start at 4:30 p.m. at Adamson Field, when the two teams conclude a game that started on April 25, but was suspended because of weather. That game will resume in the ninth inning.
The second game will begin after the conclusion of the first.
