COLD SPRING-The Brainerd Warriors managed just two runs as the Rocori Spartans won a Central Lakes Conference doubleheader 4-1 and 3-1 Thursday.

In Game One, Jake Meyer was 2-for-3 with a double and Jaden Miller was 2-for-3 with an RBI single. Rocori's Ryan Hennen struck out 11 and walked two in a complete game.

Hanson Devine went the first five innings, struck out two, walked three and gave up five hits and three runs (2 earned) and hit two batters. Jack Geraets pitched the sixth, allowing one hit and one run (earned) with one walk.

In Game Two, during which the Warriors struck out nine times, Meyer went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Tristan Brecht and Chris Pederson were both 2-for-4.

Pederson took the loss. He pitched five innings, yielding no earned runs and five hits with two strikeouts and two walks. Meyer pitched a spotless final two innings.
