Baseball: Warriors out hit Alex, but Cards outscore Brainerd

ALEXANDRIA--Sam Miller stuck out four and allowed two runs, both unearned, on two hits and two walks as the Brainerd Warriors fell 2-1 to the Alexandria Cardinals in a Central Lakes Conference game Thursday, May 9.

ALEXANDRIA-Sam Miller stuck out four and allowed two runs, both unearned, on two hits and two walks as the Brainerd Warriors fell 2-1 to the Alexandria Cardinals in a Central Lakes Conference game Thursday, May 9.

Michael Laber finished 1-2 with the only RBI for the Warriors as they drop to 7-3 overall and 6-3 in the conference.

Josh Hukriede and Seth Vagts collected Brainerd's only other two hits and Broc Peterson scored the Warriors lone run.

Alexandria's Carter Stockert struck out 10, walked two and allowed just three hits and one run, which was also unearned.
