Colby Watland went 3-for-3 with two doubles, two runs and five RBIs to lead the Brainerd Warrior sophomores to a 22-2 win over Cloquet Saturday.
Seth Vagts, Eli Roberts and Konnor Wicklund each added two hits for Brainerd. Jake Miller drove in three runs and Roberts and Derek Bursch each drove in two.
Ethan Sannes pitched 3.2 innings to get the win. He struck out six and walked six and allowed one hit and two earned runs.
Friday, the Warriors beat Sauk Rapids 8-2 as winning pitcher Michael Laber drove in two runs and Marcus Lennartson went 2-2. Laber worked four innings allowing two hits and no runs with four walks and three strikeouts.
Storm sweeps freshmen

Sauk Rapids swept a doubleheader from the Brainerd Warrior freshmen by scores of 2-0 and 3-1 Friday.
In Game One, Andrew Zuk had the only Warrior hit. Will Carlson pitched a complete game, giving up no earned runs, and striking out five.
Kyle Bush was 2-for-3 with a double in Game Two. Asher Pearl and Jackson Dwyer had the other Brainerd hits. Zuk started and went three innings, striking out five. Christian Augustine pitched two innings of scoreless relief, striking out two.
