Area Baseball: Cardinals outscore Trojans

STAPLES—Staples-Motley's Spencer Miller pitched three innings, struck out four, with four hits and three walks for the Cardinals in a 10-4 win over the Sebeka Trojans Monday, April 22.

Connor Fox finished 3-4 with a double and four RBIs. Owen Bjerga was 2-3 and Josh Kossan added a double for the 2-1 Cardinals.

MENAHGA—Colby Schertler drove in four runs as he went 2-4 with a double for the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines who defeated the Menahga Braves 11-1 in five innings Monday, April 22 in a Park Region Conference game.

Payton Rondestvedt finished 3-4 and Chase Nordlund was 2-2 for WDC. They each scored a run and drove in a run.

Lleyton Pettit struck out four and walked one over four innings to earn the win. He allowed one run and three hits.
