Area Baseball: Rangers top Rebels 10-6

MOOSE LAKE—Crosby-Ironton's Sam Jordan finished 2-5 and tallied one RBI with a home run for the Rangers in a 10-6 non-conference win over the Moose Lake-Willow River Rebels Thursday, May 23.

Nate Williams went 4-5 and added an RBI and Logan Grittner went 4-6 and totalled two RBIs as the Rangers improved to 10-9 overall.

PINE RIVER—Logan Gordon, Rian Struss and George Davidson ripped doubles for the No. 4 Pine River-Backus Tigers who were eliminated 8-3 by the No. 5 Hill City/Northland Storm in the West Subsection 5-1A opening round Thursday, May 23.

Steven Gardner and Dalton Middendorf contributed singles for the Tigers who finish 5-9.
