PEQUOT LAKES — Landon Janzen went 2-4 with a double and a home run and five RBIs in Game One of Aitkin’s doubleheader sweep of Pequot Lakes 15-6 and 9-0 Tuesday, April 27.

Jake Ince ripped a double and a triple as a part of his three-hit Game One for Aitkin who scored seven runs in the sixth to break the game open.

Bode Magnuson tallied two RBIs and Taevyn Brown ripped a double for Pequot Lakes in Game One.

Carson Kullhem earned the win in 2.2 innings of relief for Aitkin.

In Game Two, Hunter Hills ripped a two-RBI double and Joey Simonson ripped a double in Aitkin’s 9-0 win.

Logen Olson pitched all five innings for Aitkin and allowed one hit with six strikeouts.

Bingesser pitched four innings, allowed three hits and struck out eight.

WADENA — Zack Shaw’s 3-5 with a double and two RBIs led the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines to victory 14-4 against the Ottertail Central Bulldogs in a Park Region Conference Tuesday, April 27.

Tony Kreklau was the winning pitcher for the Wolverines in five innings with only three hits and four runs.

Josh Dykhoff went 2-4 with three RBIs along with Payton Rondestvedt who was 2-4 with two RBIs.

Evan Lunde hit 1-2 with three RBIs for WDC.

CROSBY — Connor Zender blasted a home run for Crosby-Ironton in Game One of a Mid-State Conference doubleheader against Staples-Motley Tuesday, April 27.

Staples-Motley won Game One 8-7 behind B Terrell’s 2-2 with a double and two RBIs.

Game Two was suspended in the fourth inning with Crosby-Ironton leading 10-7. Carter Holtzleicer had a double for the Rangers in Game Two.
