Nick Yeager pitched five innings of hitless relief to earn the win. He struck out five and walked one.

HINCKLEY — Logan Olson pitched and hit the Aitkin Gobblers to an 11-1 victory over St. Anthony Village in the opening round of the Hinckley-Finlayson tournament Saturday, May 1.
Olson struck out 11 and allowed just one run on two hits and one walk. At the plate, he hit a double and drove in three runs.
Jake Ince was 2-2 with a double, two runs and an RBI and Owen Miller drove in three runs. Hunter Hills finished 2-2 with two RBIs and Caiden Kjelstrom was 1-3 with two runs and an RBI.
In the championship game, a three-run seventh inning lifted Esko to a 4-3 come-from-behind victory over Aitkin.
Hills was 2-3 with a triple, double and a run and Hunter Nissen was 2-3 with one run. Miller and Olson registered RBIs
Joey Simonson struck out five over six innings. He allowed three hits and four walks that turned into one unearned run.

ST. CLOUD — Errors hampered the Little Falls Flyers Saturday, May 1, as a combined nine misplays led to a 9-6 loss to Minneapolis Southwest and an 8-3 loss to Maple Grove.
In the opener, Zach Gwost finished 2-3 with a double, three runs and two RBIs. Dane Couture also doubled and drove in two runs.
Matt Filippi was 2-4 with an RBI against Maple Grove. Couture doubled again and drove in a run and Collin Kray finished 1-2 with two runs.
Gwost was the losing pitcher in Game Two. He struck out six and allowed eight runs, four earned, on eight hits and three walks.
