Basketball: North Central All-Star Games April 8

Seven lakes area players will participate in the 13th annual North Central Basketball All-Star Games April 8 at Bemidji High School.

Sam Schimpp, Kelsie Weite and Amber Robben of Staples-Motley will play in the girls division along with Taylor Ehnstrom and Maggi Fellerman of Aitkin. Schimpp, Ehnstrom and Fellerman will play for Girls Team One and Weite and Robben will play for Girls Team Three.

Wadena-Deer Creek's Noah Ross and Dacotah Mittag will play for Boys Team Three.

Saturday, April 8

10:45 a.m., Doors open

11:15 a.m., National anthem/girls team introductions

11:30 a.m., Girls 3-point shooting contest

Noon, Girls Team One vs. Team Four

1 p.m., Girls Team Two vs. Team Three

2 p.m., Girls Team One vs. Team Three

3 p.m., Girls Team Four vs. Team Two

4 p.m., Boys team introductions

4:10 p.m., Boys 3-point shooting/slam dunk contests

4:45 p.m., Boys Team Two vs. Team Three

5:45 p.m., Boys Team One vs. Team Three

6:45 p.m., Boys Team One vs. Team Two
