Bethany Black-Lance, Ava Swanson and Azli Pulak who play travel basketball with the fifth grade team for the Brained Basketball Association tried out last fall for the Comets Elite AAU team out of St Cloud MN.
All three girls were chosen to play on the 10-person team. They played in AAU basketball tournaments in the metro as well as Wisconsin against the top fifth graders in the upper Midwest. They finished their season at the Minnesota AAU State Tournament where they finished seventh in the upper division.
