Men's College Basketball: Raiders rough up Gogebic

Chris Buckley's 22 points led the Central Lakes College Raiders to a 97-63 victory over Gogebic Community College Samsons of Michigan Friday, Nov. 30 in a non-division game.

The Raiders shot 50 percent from the field and four players reached double figures. Avis Gilbert tallied 15 points and Gavin Smith and Kelvin Harris each totaled 10 as the Raiders moved to 3-1 overall.

Playing a fast-paced, up-tempo style, the Raiders scored 33 points off of the Samsons' 27 turnovers.

TJ Kornbaum and Gilbert dominated the post as the Raiders outscored Gogebic 42-8 in the paint. Kornbaum tallied eight points and seven rebounds in 21 minutes.

Malik Kelly dished out six assists and secured five rebounds.
