As the leading scorer for the Brainerd Warriors, Myah Nelson was named the Offensive Player of the Year as well as the Most Valuable Player for the season.

The team was unable to hold it’s end-of-season banquet, but were informed earlier last weekend.

Ally Brezinski was named the Defensive Player of the Year. Kate Stadum was named Most Improved. Erika Lane and Grace Zimmerman each brought home the Warrior Award for the hardest working players.

Olivia Tautges led the Warriors with 162 rebounds. Nelson, along with her team-high 297 points, also led the team in assists with 67. Brezinski finished with the most steals and deflections with 99.

Nelson and Lane earned All-Central Lakes Conference honors. Brzezinski and Tautges were honorable mention selections.

Scholar all-conference awards for seniors with at least a 3.4 grade-point average were Jewel Aho, Jada Border, Autumn Miles, Delaney Schaeffer and Zimmerman.

Academic All-State for seniors with at least a 3.8 grade-point average were Aho, Borders, Miles and Zimmerman.

The team as a whole earned an Academic Gold Award for a team GPA of 3.76 or higher.
