Bowling: Warriors improve to 4-2

With a victory over Moorhead and a blind, the Brainerd Warriors girls bowling team remains in second place in the Northwest Central Conference with a 4-2 overall record.

With a victory over Moorhead and a blind, the Brainerd Warriors girls bowling team remains in second place in the Northwest Central Conference with a 4-2 overall record.

Brainerd beat Moorhead and lost to Fergus Falls 4-1 Feb. 12.

The Warriors posted a season-high 233 team game in the loss to Fergus.

High bowlers from Brainerd were Caitlin Brooks with 76 ⅔ percent fills. Brooks finished with 13 strikes, 10 spares and seven opens.

The next conference match will be Feb. 26 at Jack's House in Brainerd.
