Bowling: Warriors remain in conference lead

The Brainerd Warriors bowling team remains in first place in the Central Conference with a 4-0 record after defeating St. Cloud Apollo 5-0 and Sauk Rapids 4-1 last weekend.

The Brainerd Warriors bowling team remains in first place in the Central Conference with a 4-0 record after defeating St. Cloud Apollo 5-0 and Sauk Rapids 4-1 last weekend.

High bowlers for the day were Stephen Johnson with 91-percent fills and Shakira Warta with 80-percent fills.

In the junior varsity division, Brainerd Blue defeated St. Cloud Tech 3-2 and Brainerd Silver 5-0. High bowlers were Trevor Brooks and Anna Carper with 70-percent fills each.

Next conference match is Saturday, Sept. 22, at Great River Bowl in Sartell.
