The Brainerd Warriors bowling team is tied with Sartell for second place in the Central Conference after splitting its matches Saturday, Oct. 13.
Saturday, the Warriors lost 4-1 to Sauk Rapids before beating St. Cloud Tech 4-1. High bowlers for the day were Noah Blakeman with 91-percent fills and Shakira Warta with 89 percent.
Brainerd has a 9-3 record and is two matches behind first-place Forest Lake.
In the junior varsity division, Brainerd Blue beat Brainerd Silver 3-2 and lost to Forest Lake 3-2. High bowlers were Trevor Brooks with 80-percent fills for the Blue and Jocelyn Koering with 77 percent for the Silver.
The final conference match is scheduled Saturday, Oct. 27, at Great River Bowl in Sartell.
