WALKER-Wadena's Trent Petro and Preston Eagletail both advanced to the finals of the Upper Midwest Golden Gloves tournament April 23-24 at Northern Lights Casino.
Eagletail fell to Trent Hendrickson of Minneapolis in the heavyweight class.
Petro, who defeated Rashaad Stewart of North Dakota in the semifinals, lost to three-time Upper Midwest champion Anthony Rose of Minneapolis in the 165-pound finals.
Petro won the fightingest fighter award.
