Connor Powers netted 22 points for the Brainerd Warriors as they defeated the Alexandria Cardinals 78-72 in a Central Lakes Conference game Thursday, Jan. 10 at Brainerd High School.
Joey Sauer contributed 16 points and eight rebounds and Eric Martin knocked in 13 points as the Warriors ended Alexandria's three-game win streak and advance to 5-5 overall.
