Senior guard Michael Russell was named the most valuable player of the Brainerd Warrior boys basketball team this season.
Russell also accumulated the team's Mr. Offense and Mr. Assist awards. He was an All-Central Lakes Conference and Academic All-CLC selection. In addition, Russell received all-state honorable mention.
Michael Bieganek won the team's Mr. Rebound award. He also was an All-CLC and Academic All-CLC selection.
Chris Karels was the team's Mr. Defense award winner and received All-CLC honorable mention.
Tanner Lundberg received the team's Mr. Assist award and Joey Sauer received All-CLC honorable mention.
