Brainerd's Joey Sauer registered 34 points and nine rebounds for the Warriors as they crushed Class 4A's seventh-ranked Wayzata Trojans 91-74 Saturday, Feb. 2 at Brainerd High School
Owen Davis added 21 points and seven rebounds and Ben Staehling put up 14 for the Warriors.
The Trojans now sit at 14-5 overall. The Warriors, who have won three straight and five of their last six, improve to 11-7.
The Warriors shot 56.7 percent (34-60) from the field and held Wayzata to just 41 percent shooting.
The Warriors collected 20 assists. Mason Malone's six led the way, but Sauer add3d four and Staehling three.

Gabe Smith came off the bench to corral six rebounds as the Warriors outrebounded the Trojans 35-28.
