Kobe Ahonen of Brainerd has been selected by the Breakdown Sports USA staff to be among its featured players in the 2014-15 Minnesota High School Boys Basketball Guidebook.
Ahonen is the second Brainerd junior-to-be honored with this distinction.
■ Shooting clinic
Brainerd will host a Pro Shooting Systems Clinic at Forestview Middle School in Baxter from 1-5 p.m. June 19-20. The clinic is free for boys and girls entering grades 8-12.
Interested participants may just show up the day of the event. There is no registration to complete in order to participate.
