ST. MICHAEL-Kobe Ahonen posted 22 points and 15 rebounds during the Brainerd Warriors' 70-43 win over the Buffalo Bison in their Section 8-4A game Thursday.
It was Brainerd's sixth win in a row while the Bison fell to 2-9 overall.
Ahonen was 6-for-12 from the field and 9 of 11 at the foul line. He helped Brainerd outrebound the Bison 41-26.
Michael Russell tallied 18 points for the Warriors drilling five threes.
"We played our most complete game of the year, with a number of guys playing well," Warriors coach Scott Stanfield said. "Kobe Ahonen had another double-double and Chris Pederson (8 points, 4 rebounds) played well inside.

"We had great contributions off the bench from Hunter Brown and Jaden Miller. Michael Russell was his usual self and had another terrific game.
"It was another good win against a section team. We have a few days to recover and get ready for Alexandria at home on Tuesday."
