Boys Basketball: Warriors’ defense steps up in 14th-straight win

BEMIDJI — Brainerd’s Griffin Rushin registered 14 points for the Warriors as they defeated the Bemidji Lumberjacks 50-28 Friday, March 12.

Johnny Pecarich and Mitchell Degen each added nine points while Max Lelwica grabbed nine rebounds.

The Warriors have now won 14 games straight.

Brainerd’s defense held Bemidji to just 31% shooting and forced nine turnovers.
