Boys Basketball: Warriors fall despite Rushin’s big game

Brainerd travels to Alexandria for first road game.

ALEXANDRIA — Griffin Rushin led the Brainerd Warriors with 26 points in a 68-58 loss to the Alexandria Cardinals in Central Lake Conference play Saturday, Jan. 16.

Rushin drained 8-of-12 two-pointers and sank 2-of-4 from beyond the arc. He converted 4-of-5 free throws.

Nick Evanson and Max Lewica each added seven points for the Warriors.
