Michael Bigenaek posted a team-high 15 points for the Brainerd Warriors, who lost 62-49 to the St. Cloud Tech Tigers in a Central Lakes Conference game Tuesday at Brainerd High School.
Michael Russell added 14 points for the the Warriors. who have lost six of their last seven games and fall to 6-12 overall, 4-7 in the conference.
"We played a very good Tech team, but lacked the energy to overcome their size and strength in the second half and gave up too many second-chance points," said Brainerd head coach Scott Stanfield. "We have Alexandria on Friday, another very good team, and we need to play with more energy and excitement to compete with them."
Tech entered the game 8-2 in the CLC and tied for first with Fergus Falls.
