Boys Golf: Evans leads Warriors to 2nd

SARTELL--Cody Evans fired a 76 that placed him third and the Brainerd Warriors finished second as a team in the Central Lakes Conference meet Monday, May 6, at Blackberry Ridge Golf Course.

SARTELL-Cody Evans fired a 76 that placed him third and the Brainerd Warriors finished second as a team in the Central Lakes Conference meet Monday, May 6, at Blackberry Ridge Golf Course.

Evans was two strokes back of co-medalists Braeden Sladek of Alexandria and Logan Hamak of Sartell who carded 74s.

Alexandria won the meet with a 310 and Brainerd was a stroke back at 311.

Following Evans for the Warriors were Erik Stoxen and Cole Proctor with 78s and Dan Olson completed the scoring with a 79.

After three conference meets, Brainerd is in second place with 20 points behind Alexandria's 24.
