The Brainerd Warriors are seeded fifth and will play at No. 4 Buffalo in the quarterfinals of the Section 8-2A tournament at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The tournament opens at 7 p.m. Saturday when No. 9 Becker-Big Lake plays at No. 8 Monticello-Annandale-Maple Lake. The winner travels to No. 1 Bemidji at 7 p.m. Tuesday for a quarterfinal game.
In other quarterfinal matchups at 7 p.m. Tuesday, No. 7 St. Cloud Tech goes to No. 2 Moorhead and No. 6 River Lakes travels to No. 3 Roseau.
Semifinals are at 7 p.m. Feb. 21 at the high seeds.
Championship game is at 7 p.m. Feb. 25 at a neutral site.
