BLAINE-Will Lundstrom and Josh McLain netted the only two goals for Brainerd which couldn't keep up with Class 2A's No. 3 ranked Blaine Bengals who defeated the Warriors 5-2 Friday, Feb. 5.
Brainerd outshot the Bengals 8-6 in the opening period and led 2-0.
It was all Blaine after that as the Bengals outshot Brainerd 30-11 in the next two periods and scored five unanswered goals.
The Warriors came into the game 14-7 having won seven of their last eight, while Blaine entered 14-4-4 with a nine-game winning streak.
Luke Saiko was credited with 31 saves for Brainerd.
