GRAND RAPIDS - Dylan McLain scored twice for Brainerd as the Warriors finished the Perpich North South Challenge with a 5-2 loss to the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks on Wednesday.
Josh Howieson collected two assists and Peter Dahl one for the Warriors, who beat Hibbing 2-1 in overtime Monday and Virginia 3-2 on Tuesday.
Brainerd goalie Brady Mick recorded 43 saves as the Warriors were outshot 49-11.
The Thunderhawks improved to 6-8-0 as they won for only the second time in their last 10 games. Micah Miller had a hat trick for the Thunderhawks.
