The Brainerd Warriors boys hockey team earned the No. 3 seed for the Section 8-2A playoffs and will open 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, against No. 6 Bemidji at Essentia Health Sports Center in Brainerd.
A Warrior win would land them in a battle between No. 2 Roseau vs. No. 7 St. Cloud 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at the higher seeded team.
The Moorhead Spuds landed the No. 1 seed and will open against No. 8 Rogers. The other quarterfinal matchup pits No. 5 St. Michael-Albertville at No. 4 Buffalo.
The Section 8-2A championship game is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at either Thief River Falls, Bemidji or St. Cloud State University.
