Boys Hockey: Warriors force OT, but fall in playoffs

ROSEAU — Paul Huglen’s short-handed goal 35 seconds into overtime gave the No. 3 Roseau Rams a 2-1 victory over the No. 6 Brainerd Warriors in the Section 8-2A Quarterfinals Tuesday, Feb. 18.

Roseau got on the board first with a Max Strand goal in the second period.

Christian Kadolph evened the score with an assist from Eric Pohlkamp just over four minutes later.

The Rams outshot the Warriors 28-23 with Brainerd goalie Luke Seiko recording 26 saves.

Brainerd finishes 10-13-3.
